Your local guide will pick you up after leaving the ship and off you go on your excursion to Lanzarote today.
During this excursion, you will discover the Timanfaya National Park, where there had been continuous volcano eruptions for more than six years in the 18th century leaving this area devastated. At the foot of the mountains of fire, the “desert ships”, the dromedaries invite you to a short (slightly shaky) ride.
Over the unique volcanic landscape, you will go up to the fire mountains. There, in the heart of Lanzarote, various demonstrations are shown on the volcanoes that are still active below the surface of the earth. The subsequent drive through the lava landscape shows the huge and enchanting volcanoes. The return trip will take you through the wine-growing region of La Geria with a visit to a bodega and tasting of typical Lanzarote wine.
At the agreed time, your tour guide will then bring you back to your ship.
We wish you an interesting excursion on Lanzarote!
