In the north of the island you will find most of the works of César Manrique next to fertile green valleys . He is probably the most important artist of Lanzarote, who was also internationally known and popular and strongly influenced the island thanks to his positive influence and artistic talent.
Through the “Valley of the 1,000 Palm Trees” you will visit the cave “Jameos del Agua” designed by Manrique, a self-contained little fairytale world. You will continue to go up to the northern tip to the viewpoint “Mirador del Rio”, another work by Cesar Manrique, with an overwhelming view of the Lanzarote offshore small islands. A real insight into the life and work of this extraordinary artist can be found in his former home, the “Fundación César Manrique“. He has built this in a lava field and wonderfully merged with the unique natural landscape.
Let the new impressions sink in and enjoy the landscape and village life on the volcanic island. At the agreed time, your tour guide will then bring you back to your ship.
