The highlight for any Formula One fan is Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island. In the amusement park of superlatives, everything revolves around the topic of Ferrari. There, in addition to exhibitions, there is a virtual tour through the company’s famous factory in Maranello and a Formula 1 simulator. Those looking for a special thrill can find it on the Formula Rossa, the fastest roller coaster in the world.

Currency
The UAE Dirham is the currency in the United Arab Emirates. Taxi drivers only accept mostly Dirham, which is why a currency exchange is recommended.
One UAE Dirham is equivalent to 0.23 Euros, 0.27$ and 0.21 pounds. In addition, it is possible to pay with credit card.
Taxi and public transport
Exploring Abu Dhabi on foot is not to be recommended because of the hot temperatures and the long distances. Therefore, you should get on a cheap taxi. Make sure that the meter is turned on.
The bus system in Abu Dhabi has currently expanded. However, workers use the buses every day. They are usually crowded. Hop-on/hop-off buses or bus tours can also go through the city like in 1001 Nights.
Travel time
The cruise season extends from October to May. The main travel season resides between December and April. The air temperature in the period is often around 30 °C / 86 °F and more. However, the coolest months are January and February with the an average of 24 to 25 °C / 75 to 77 °F. Water temperatures of at least 21 °C / 70 °F are more equally pleasant throughout the year.
